The 6 Core Values We Uphold
At the 2016 AICPA Personal Financial Planning conference, financial life planning pioneer, Mitch Anthony, referred to the true client-centric value proposition of financial planning as improving a person’s “Return on Life,” (ROL) as opposed to the traditional approach of improving someone’s portfolio ROI.
As financial life planners, we’ve embraced this notion and aim to uphold what Mitch Anthony put forth as the six core values that financial planners should provide:
Organization
We strive to help you get your financial house in order, from the intricate details of your insurance, estate, investments, and taxes to your cash flow.
Accountability
We take our role in your life very seriously. Through a proactive process, we guide you through financial decisions, help you prioritize your goals, and show you how to stay on track as you work toward your goals.
Objectivity
As independent advisors, we take an unbiased stance in all that we do. We do the research needed to make sure you have all the information you need to make informed decisions. By serving as a lifelong consultant, you can avoid emotionally-driven decisions and rely on us for objective advice.
Proactivity
We’re always looking to the future and how we can help you stay one step ahead. While there’s no predicting unexpected life events, we can help you be prepared for hurdles and any potential life transitions that may be on the horizon.
Education
We do all we can to stay up-to-date with the industry and provide you the knowledge you need to succeed in your situation. Whether we’re providing resources or recommendations, we’ll explain the possibilities and risks associated with every option.
Partnership
Our mission is to help you pursue the best life possible. We don’t just work for you - we work with you as a collaborative team, taking the time to clearly understand your needs, objectives, and circumstances.
